The Lodge At Poncha Springs offers a charming stay with some delightful features. The room felt cozy and had nice wood accents, resembling a cabin in the woods, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night. I loved spending time in the inviting courtyard around the campfire, where chatting with other guests added to the experience. However, my stay wasn’t without its hiccups. The bathroom could definitely use a fan for better ventilation. It was slightly inconvenient because I had a separate issue with the A/C unit and heater operating independently, which woke me up at night. Also, the lack of basic amenities like hand soap and a fridge in the room was slightly disappointing at this price point. Despite these small issues, the warm hospitality from Jim and Dawn made me feel welcomed, from before arrival through to check-in. The overall setting is nice for a peaceful retreat, but some attentions to detail could elevate the stay further.

The Lodge offered a charming and cozy atmosphere.
Our stay was marred by several disappointments. The lack of a fan in the bathroom was incredibly frustrating, as it created an uncomfortable environment. Additionally, there was an issue with the air conditioning unit, which operated independently and caused interruptions during the night. Overall, the lack of attention to detail diminished what could have been a wonderful experience.

Had an awesome time with friends! We enjoyed our cozy rooms and the great atmosphere, especially around the campfire. We hit the slopes at the nearby ski area and explored the beautiful trails. The kitchen area was handy for quick snacks. I recommend checking out the local cafes as well for some delicious meals.
Unfortunately, my room's A/C and heater were acting up. It was a bit disruptive during the night, which was frustrating. Could use some maintenance there.
